The funny thing about postcards is how sending one only a day late can severely alter the quality of a message. “Thanks for the heads up buddy but I already got my hand bitten off from swimming along shark cove the other day. Maybe if you quit island living for a minute and sent the damn postcard then I could’ve written something back. Looks like I can’t do that now!”
