The Funny Thing About Life

The funny thing about summer is your attitude towards it as life goes on. When you’re a little kid up until you graduate high school, you don’t want summer to end because it’s so much better than school. You know: “Mommy, I don’t wanna go to school!” In college, it’s the opposite. You even start counting down the days to go back before the summer even starts. Then when you’re in the workforce, you start to prefer winter because that way you don’t have to deal with pit stains from the humidity. Lastly, when you’re old you become stubborn and refuse to enjoy any of the seasons because “back in your day things were different.”
